We stock durable polycarbonate for window bases up to 4ft (48").  For window inserts longer than 4ft (48") we can custom order larger sized 3/8" Polycarbonate or PVC (add 1-2 weeks to lead time). These solutions are both used for extra large window cat door inserts and ensure structural integrity!

• Cat Door Sizes: We use two standard-sized pet door for cats up to 15 lbs. Customizations can be made to the insert and pet door size, and charges may apply.
  
  
  • Small Cat Doors: have an overall size of 7-1/2"W x 7-7/8"H with a 5-3/4"W x 5-3/4"H Cat Flap. The Small Cat Door is installed on a 10"H polycarbonate window insert
    
    
  • Large Cat Doors: have an overall size of 9-1/4"W x 10”H with a 7"W x 7"H Cat Flap. The Large Cat Door is installed on a 13"H or 18"H polycarbonate window insert
    
    
• Window Height: Small Cat Doors come installed into a 10" height and Large Cat Doors come installed into a 13" or 18" height polycarbonate sheet; all inserts have custom widths to fit your window!
  

• To get an accurate measurement for your window cat door insert, simply measure the width of opening when your window is in the up position, and then add 1/2" to that measurement. See images below.
  
  
• For example:If your window opening is 30" wide, you will add 1/2" to this for a Window Width of 30-1/2". Input this number into the field above when ordering. Foam weather stripping is included and can be added to the outside edge of the insert, which creates a weather-proof seal between the cat door insert and the window opening and provides a tighter fit. 
  
  
• If the side tracks/guides on your window are greater than 3/4" deep, you may opt to measure the depth of the track on one side and add that measurement to the width of the window opening instead of adding 1/2". This will ensure a tighter fit in the window.

If ordered individually, your insert will ship via small parcel which can take 1-5 days depending on your location (see our shipping page). If your window cat door insert is ordered with a cat fence system / enclosure, your entire order will ship together which may result in 1-2 extra days lead time.

Max Window Width for Stocked Polycarbonate: we stock widths up to 48" for polycarbonate, if your window is longer than 48" we can custom order your size from our distributor (either PVC or polycarbonate). Please Note: custom sizes over 4ft will have longer lead times than stocked sizes and will be subject to additional charges.
